Chorizo Prawn Pasta
Chorizo Prawn Pasta is a great recipe for a quick mid week meal. It keeps both the meat lovers and the seafood lovers happy in one breath.
8 Chorizo Sausages (raw)
1/2 kilo green prawns
Your favourite bottled pasta sauce
1 tin crushed tomatoes
1 tablespoon of tomato paste
Cook your sausages and keep warm in the oven
Cook the pasta until al dente
Heat a little oil in a pan and cook the prawns until juicy (be careful not to overcook)
Slice the sausages and add them to the prawns
Add in the pasta sauce, tomatoes and paste and mix through
Dish up pasta and top with sauce, sausages and prawns
Sprinkle parmesan cheese on top if desired.
Serve with garlic bread and a light salad
