I have a dish that I always order, every single time we go to our local favourite restaurant.
I spend half an hour perusing the menu, yet in the end it always results in the same decision.
Miss E has been cooking dinner every Saturday night for the past few weeks and last Saturdays creation was nothing short of spectacular and everything I could have dreamed of.
She re-created my favourite dish!
As it turned out it was so easy to make and as a result I don’t think I will ever have to pay to have it in a restaurant again. Who needs to when your 15 year old daughter can make it from the comfort of your own home!
So *drum roll* I give you this weeks culinary masterpiece from Miss E.
Coles Seafood Marinara Mix
3/4 kilo raw peeled banana prawns
2 teaspoons minced garlic
1/2 cup butter (real)
1/4 cup chopped parsley
tablespoon lemon juice
750grm dried linguine pasta
Cook the pasta in hot boiling water, drain and set aside
Melt 1 tablespoon of the butter in a pan
Add seafood and cook until just tender
Add Lemon Juice
Toss with pasta and melt the rest of the butter through to make a buttery sauce
Serve immediately with some garlic bread and a fresh side salad.
Enjoy.. you can thank me later…. or her…she’s a genius! Masterchef eat your heart out!
