The Great Spongebob Squarepants Giveaway
The past two weeks turning into Spongebob Squarepants has seemed mighty appealing.
Things on the blog have been quite quiet and I’m sorry for that, but sickness has descended on the happy Barbie house.
These were the two weeks that hell decended on our happy little abode and whereby I seriously, considered buying shares in Vicks or Kleenex.
Miss G and Miss T our two youngest cherubs have been struck down with the dreaded “lurgy”.
There has been coughing and sneezing galore, bloodshot eyes, feverish brows and me, following closely behind with the Glen 20.
In order to keep the rest of the family safe from infection these two have been spending a lot of time in their room. Luckily they are all set up there with their comfy beds, numerous toys TV and DVD collection.
One DVD that has been getting a lot of airplay has been the new Spongebob Squarepants Movie.
As a family we have always been a big fan of the quirky, little yellow sponge and his trusty side kick Patrick.
So when the opportunity arose for the girls to review the latest movie they jumped at the chance.
So this is the second foray into the world of a big screen movie for Spongebob SquarePants and by all accounts, from the chuckling coming from the bedroom it is fast becoming a hit!
Perve factor in the first Spongebob movie was David Hasselhoff, this time around the the eye candy for us mums, who are generally on movie duty, is none other than Antonio Banderras (just ignore the scruffy Pirate beard), in the form of a Pirate Burger Beard.
Once again it is up to Spongebob and trusty side kick Patrick Star to save the day and the “Crabby Patty” secret formula, when the diabolical Pirate (al la Antonio) takes it upon himself to steal the most prized possession of Bikini Bottom.
For once Spongebob has to team up with “evil genius” Plankton to hunt it down and return it to where it belongs.
Spongebob and Plankton find themselves in uncharted territory teaming up and working together to achieve a common goal (your motto and life lesson for this movie).
The kids will love it…. the adults will love the couple of hours peace they have while their kids are watching it.
It’s a win win!!
To celebrate the release on DVD I have a couple of great Spongebob packs to give away for the little kids (and big kids) in every family.
